Charmois Trail

A rugged trail that initially follows the road along the Kolpa River to Dolenja Žaga, where it climbs towards Kostel Castle, a cultural monument of national importance. The second part of the trail is an adventure through the forest. You take your bike along a path where there are no cars and where you have the chance to observe nature. You will also learn why Kostel is known as the Land of Water and perhaps even meet the shy and most charming inhabitant after which the trail is named – the chamois.
