Mountaineering Club Kočevje

Since its establishment in 1951, the Mountaineering Club Kočevje has built and maintained nearly 200 km of hiking trails in the municipalities of Kočevje, Kostel, and Osilnica. The Club can provide you with all the information you need to visit the hiking trails in Kočevsko independently, and you can also hire a guide to accompany and guide you when exploring the hiking trails of Kočevsko. The Mountaineering Club also maintains and manages the mountain hut Koča pri Jelenovem studencu, which is the starting point for many mountain trails. In 6 rooms there are 40 beds available, and in shared beds, there are an additional 10 beds. There are 40 seats in the catering area, as many more are in the special room, which can be converted into a lecture room for 20 to 30 participants if needed.
